TTS--Locations--Florida-RegionServicing the Florida Ports in Jacksonville, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and Tampa, Brunswick, GA and San Juan, Puerto Rico since 1988.

Between the Blount Island, Dames Point, and Talleyrand terminals there are 17 ship to shore cranes. However, many of the services that run between JAX Ports and Puerto Rico are unique and were developed around the various types of ro/ro vessels being used. Therefore TICO’s tractor fleet in FL is a blend of standard terminal tractors and other very use specific units. Many of the terminal tractors used there were custom built to accommodate the specific needs of a particular service or vessel they operate in. JAX Ports and the Brunswick Terminal in GA are top vehicle handling ports both for autos headed into the Southeast U.S. as well as international exports. Terminal tractors are not required to move and process thousands of automobiles, but shuttle busses are. TICO provides vehicles modified to safely deliver drivers into vessels, some with less than 6’ of deck height clearance.

In 2009 TICO opened a full service repair facility at Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale to support 9 container cranes, a steady increase of work, and an expanding customer base. Having a presence in Port Everglades has created opportunities to develop additional business in and around the Port of Miami and Port Manatee in Tampa.
